There was a treat waiting for me at home. Tofu Peanut from the Okinawan restaurant at Tanglin Shopping Centre. Smooth peanut-ty tofu with a sticky sweet-salty sauce perked up with a dab of ginger. The Okinawan take on panna cotta I suppose. Perfect for my sandpaper throat.

Hi dachsie, sorry to hear about your experience. I've not been back since that one visit more than a year ago. The things I liked were the tofu peanut, sesame dough balls and noodles. Most of the other dishes seemed very Chinese to me, and rather oily.
Yummy!
